Description
2 The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (GCVHCS), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, Biloxi, MS, is issuing a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice in conjunction with procedures in FAR Part 13. We intend to issue a sole source purchase order to Omnicell, Inc., 590 E. Middlefield Road, Mountain View, CA 94043. This procurement is for an upgrade of the Omnicell Workflow server, to include the existing carousel and peripheral equipment for medication dispensing cabinets, at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, 1100 N. College Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 72703. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is being issued. The solicitation number 36C25618U0075 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-98 effective May 31, 2018. The NAICS code is 339122 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement will be firm-fixed-price. The closing date for this notice is 12:00 PM CST August 24, 2018. The requirement is for the following: The contractor shall one each WRX Server, two each AIO Workstation Kits, and two each 2D Wireless Barcode Scanner for the Omnicell equipment replacement for the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville, AR. Please refer to Statement of Work for detailed information. To be eligible for award of a contract, vendor must be actively registered in the SAM database (https://www.sam.gov). Vendor is also required to complete representations and certifications found in the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. Background: Currently, we use Omnicell Workflow server and Carousel to store and inventory medications to all inpatient and outpatient areas within our Medical Center. The Omnicell Workflow server is connected to our Carousel and drives all the workload for all our stocking of automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs) throughout our hospital system. The Carousel portion of the system is still operational and will continue to be used. 4. Scope. Our current Omnicell Workflow server reached its end of service life with the vendor on 05/31/2017 due to its Microsoft Server version. Currently, this server is not serviceable by Omnicell and represents a security risk. This request is to purchase a new Omnicell Workflow Server to work with our existing Carousel equipment. This server must seamlessly integrate, interface and function with the existing Omnicell equipment. Also required will be to upgrade individual PC units on the system to be compatible with the new server version and work seamlessly with the installed server. 5. Specifications/Characteristics: Omnicell is required to build, deliver, and install an upgraded server to drive our existing Omnicell Workflow system. The provided server must seamlessly integrate and interface with existing Omnicell Carousel and client PCs currently in operation. 6. Delivery: Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville, AR; to be delivered on or before 09/30/2018.
