- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates establishing a five year repair requirements type "D" contract (one year plus four one year options) for depot level repair support for components of the AN/ALR-56M RWR System LRUs/SRUs: Frequency Selectable Oscillator (FSO) NSN: 5955-01-362-4598EW (P/N:330373-101) and Frequency Converters (FC) NSN:5963-01-362-9731EW (P/N:33076-101) used on the F-16C/D and C-130J aircraft. Quantities are Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs). Quantities for the FSO are: Basic Year BEQ 18ea Option I BEQ 12 ea Option II BEQ 12 ea Option III BEQ 12 ea Option IV BEQ 12 ea Quantities for the FC are: Basic Year BEQ 16 ea Option I BEQ 12 ea Option II BEQ 12 ea Option III BEQ 12 ea Option IV BEQ 12 ea The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, L3 Communications Corp. DBA Narda-MITEQ, Cage: 99899 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The government does not have adequate data for another source to use to make repairs. The data is a source control drawing (SCD) only, which lacks parts list, material, processes, interface requirements, schematics, and testing requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may submit a capability statement by responding to the solicitation once posted. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated solicitation date is 5 September 2018. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information or to communicate concerns, if any, regarding this acquisition.
