- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Prison Industries (FPI), UNICOR in Phoenix, Arizona intends to make awards for the provision of various items related to electronics requirements, specifically 332722, Bolt, Nut, Screw, Rivet and Washer Manfacturing. Multiple awards may be made from the solicitation. Please register under NAICS code 332722 for this solicitation. Each vendor is required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM); information can be obtained at www.sam.gov. FPI UNICOR will award to the responsible vendor(s) whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to utilize the Government purchase card for all transactions with a total order not exceeding $3,500.00. The solicitation will be posted to the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed through the referenced website. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. Participation by small, small-disadvantaged, HUB Zone small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, veteran owned small businesses, and service disabled veteran owned small businesses is encouraged. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Questions will be due by August 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM EST. Bids will be due by September 4, 2018 at 2;00 PM EST. Late bids will not be accepted. Bids will only be accepted via email by christy.rios@usdoj.gov.
